E-Colours Introduction
Issue 21
Good morning.
Welcome back to the Donnelly mindset newsletter.
This week I’d like to introduce you to E-Colours.
The E-Colours is a tool that heightens self-awareness. By using the personality diversity indicator you will discover your personality strengths and potential limiters which will enable you to understand others by understanding yourself.
Equilibria’s E-Colours describes the four dominant personality styles as listed below. By initially focusing on our primary and secondary E-Colours they are easy to understand, remember and apply.
My E-Colours - R/G
The doer - Red - The part of your personality that helps you takes action and get things done.
The thinker - Green - The part of your personality that helps you plan and analyse information.
The socialiser - Yellow - The part of your personality that helps you interact and engage with others.
The relator - Blue - The part of personality that helps you emphasise with and support others.
Having taken the PDI (Personality diversity indicator) I discovered how accurate the results are, with my primary colour being red and my secondary colour being green. This explains why I’m an action orientated person but I also like to question certain situations and want to know more details before carrying out a task.
Equilibria’s premium report provides an in depth 34 page report, which will allow you to understand your strengths and potential limiters. You will have a better understanding of how to communicate with other E-Colours and how each personality style has different preferences when it comes to communication.
You will see what your tendencies are in the work environment, your personal life and also how stress can affect you too. By understanding your self, you can start to understand others and how to interact with them. One principle of E-Colours is that we do not decide on what personality style someone has. However, if you see certain behaviours that reflect characteristics associated with other tendencies, there are ways to consider how to interact with them and enhance communication.
This is a great tool to bring in to your organisation to enhance your teams performance. By each team member understanding their personality style it’ll boost communication and promote better team working allowing each member to work to their strengths and also supporting each others potential limiters. Understanding that we all have potential limiters will give team members more patience and understanding, which enables us to provide to support to others when it’s needed. Overall it’ll promote a better working environment for your team.
I am currently working with Equilibria and I would like to offer to anyone who is interested a free code to discover their E-Colours.
I only have 10 codes remaining so it’ll be on a first come first serve basis.
If you’d like a code, reply to this email and I will get straight back to you.
Thank you for your time.
I am grateful for your support.
Until next time,
Connor Donnelly
